ABOUT ME

MEET COACH JOJO

Coach Jojo is a former Division I and Division II college athlete who knows what it feels like to be doubted.

She went from being called weak and incapable to becoming a starter, earning First Team All-League honors, receiving multiple accolades, and helping lead her teams through successful seasons. Her experience taught her that athletic performance is shaped by much more than talent or the hours spent at practice.

Today, Coach Jojo helps athletes improve the five areas that affect how they train, compete, and grow: mindset and motivation, nutrition and fueling, recovery, strength and conditioning, and habits, routines, and goals.

With a degree in Business Entrepreneurship & Small Business Management and firsthand experience overcoming her own struggles as an athlete, Coach Jojo creates practical courses, resources, and tools that athletes can use in their everyday lives.

Her goal is simple: to help athletes become stronger, healthier, and more complete—while continuing to love the sport they work so hard for.

GOT A QUESTION? ASK ME.

Athlete, parent, or coach — if something here brought up a question, send it. I read every message that comes in, and I'm the one answering them.

I usually reply within a couple of days. One thing I can't do: give medical, injury, or personalized nutrition advice — I'm a performance coach, not a dietitian or physical therapist.

  • Basketball positions all my career: shooting guard/small forward, with a hint of point guard.

  • I saved a cat (Blue-Point Siamese) from the streets of Idaho, bringing him back to the Bay Area, and named him Handsome. (Ask me about him and you will be sitting through hundreds of pictures. It's probably best not to ask.)

  • Favorite basketball memory: If you're someone who asks athletes to answer this, please stop. We don't know. We just will tell you we love every memory that has to do with our teammates or winning a game where it's given us a medal or ring.

  • Height: 5'9", but I have to say, "with shoes on," or else my old teammates (I guess I have to call them friends now?) say I'm a liar.
